When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (if provided), and an encrypted version of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
We store your venue ratings (tiers, seen, disliked) so you can access them across devices. Without an account, these are stored only in your browser's local storage.
If you submit feedback through the Site, we store the message content, category, and your user ID (if logged in).
We use standard server logs which may include your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies.
We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain your account; (b) save and sync your venue preferences; (c) respond to feedback; (d) improve the Site. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted infrastructure. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
We use essential cookies only: (a) session cookies to keep you logged in; (b) CSRF tokens for security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We use the following third-party services:
You may: (a) access your data through the profile page; (b) export your preferences as JSON; (c) delete your account by contacting us — we will remove all associated data; (d) use the Site without an account to avoid any data collection beyond server logs.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
The Site is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page.
